Why picking the right dog is important
6 rules, for a 6-8 week-old pup
Meet the dog parents – do parents, limbing, aggressive with people? Do they like people?
- Submission test – lay pup on back, as see if it will let you sub
- Trainablely test – try to use a dog cry to see, if pup will get interested at you, if no response don’t get
- Kid tested – slightly tug on paws and skin to see if their reaction, if they react responsivly to tries to get away from you or bite you … leave pup alone
- Noise test – throw key or a moderate noise-producing object 3-4 away from pup not at pup – you want them to be not be startled and be curious about the key chain, and walk up to it. Rather than being anxious and running away from the noise.
- Playtest – they play fair, back and forward play Second dog – bring your dog with you, to see how they will interact with each other. You want them to play and interact to see if theyw il get along.
